Using master assist (R1&L1) is almost always better than dishing out a super attack.Cammy's spiral thingie (the hadoken control slot ability) is prolly one of the best abilities to mash through any number of opponents and will instantly get you up close and personal for those combos or Manon throws.They can't seem to escape this throw so you'll destroy anything that you can get close enough to use it on. Get Manon's throw asap (I had it equipped on down + Y on xbox controller). Some enemies keep blocking, throwing, or countering your throws.
Some enemies are super jumpy, so always have an anti-air ability you can spam against them.Its slot doesn't compete with any other good abilities, it's better than every single other projectile you could have since it has max distance, doing it manually (even with modern controls) with heavy attack or using the assist version sends two projectiles, so you win every projectile battle. Dee Jay's sonic boom thingie whatever its name was, is a great option. And get skills that prepare you for every situation: Keep your health topped off by buying food when you can, and use items in battle when you need to. Always change to better gear when you find / buy it (I didn't even bother upgrading any of it it until the very endgame). But very soon you get to a point where you're extremely strong and only specific story enemies pose a challenge.Īs others said, get your skills every time you level up. They don't even really have any rewards worth winning.
You don't actually lose the game, it basically assumes you will lose in the start, and that's fine. And sure in the start the masters were hard and I took losses, but that was to be expected. I did next to no extra grinding, besides hunting for cosmetics and doing every side quest the moment I could. I really don't understand where these completely different experiences are coming from tbh xD Like, I don't doubt you, or blame you, I just don't get it.
